About RRR
“R&R Rehabilitation” is our 501(c)(3) nonprofit that assists in funding rehabbed and retired horses with a safe home, 24/7 care, and meaningful connection with people. 🐴♥️ A majority are geriatric and chronic horses who need extra support to feel their best. We provide physical therapy, bodywork, rehabilitation, specialized diets, daily medications, emergency vetting, end of life care, etc. Read more about our care HERE.
The cost of providing this level of care for vulnerable horses continues to rise, and every donation, no matter the amount, truly makes a difference. Your support helps us maintain and improve the quality of care our horses receive, while also allowing more children and adults to connect with them through gentle, meaningful experiences at the ranch.

On Sunday, October 11 we are opening our ranch to the community for our Open Ranch & Market. There will be led horseback rides, horse drawn wagon rides, trick or treating, games with prizes, food and drinks, and more than forty local vendors. Hundreds of families come through the gate each time we host this event. Everything the day brings in goes to R&R Rehabilitation, our 501(c)(3), for the care our rehabilitation horses need to get through a Michigan winter.
When a local business covers part of what the event costs, more of what comes in that afternoon stays with the horses. In return your name goes in front of every family who walks through the gate, and in front of our followers online.
Sponsor by Friday, October 2 to be included on the event banner. Anything after that is still welcome, it just misses the banner.

Booking a ride, sharing our posts, and cheering these horses on already supports us more than you know. ❤️ Rides help us cover the basics of our care plan out of pocket, but rising costs can make it a constant balancing act. Donations help us keep up with the extra things that make a real difference for horses with chronic or complicated needs.

Many of our horses are older, some have ongoing medical needs that simply do not fit in the average barn and need a semi-retirement environment to stay active at their pace.
