Lesson Programs
The expert in anything..
was once a beginner
Our lessons are designed to give you the confidence and knowledge you need to ride safely and responsibly. You will not only learn the fundamentals of riding disciplines, but also how to care for and build a relationship with your horse partner. Working with horses has been shown to improve self-esteem, emotional awareness, patience, and problem-solving abilities.
We have lessons for all ages and ability levels, whether you're looking for your first horse experience or want to get back in the saddle!

☼ 2023 Lessons Closed☼
All of our 2023 Lesson Programs are currently full!
We recommend trying a Private Horseback Ride, Meet & Greet or One Time Lesson if you want to get some exposure to our horses and ranch!

All of our lessons are private
We find that one-on-one lessons help our students to connect more successfully with their horse partner and instructor. However, if you'd like to bring a learning partner, we can arrange private group lessons for up to two students at once.

Western Lessons
Our Western lessons are designed for those who want to begin their equine journey or just get back in the saddle. We'll cover the fundamentals of horse care and safety, riding, barrel patterns, pole bending, and horsemanship.
The owner of the ranch offers an advanced Western lesson for those that want to become a confident trail partner with these gentle giants. The most important thing is to relax, breath, and enjoy yourself!
Western Lessons available:

Our Facility
Our private ranch is nestled on 40 acres of wooded land 30 minutes from West Michigan's lakeshore. We're surrounded by 800+ acres of state game land, and the Silver Creek horseman's campground and equestrian trails are just a short trot away.
We are a completely outdoor facility. Our lessons are held outside in all safe weather conditions throughout the year. We have both a round pen and a 80 x 60 arena. We are currently constructing a 100 x 120 outdoor arena, which should be completed by the end of summer 2023.
