Hello there! I’m Olenna, and I’m a sweet, curious girl who’s pretty excited to share my story with you. 🙂
 

Not long ago, I found myself at an auction in Shipshewana. A kind trainer from Galesburg brought me home, but she realized she didn’t have the time to work with me the way she hoped. So she did the right thing and started looking for a place where I could land somewhere safe and steady.
 

That’s when this ranch found my ad online, and they scooped me up because they’ve got a real soft spot for Standardbreds like me. When I arrived, I had a few bumps and bruises and my body felt sore in that “things aren’t lining up right” kind of way, especially up through my poll and jaw, and a little through my shoulders and hips too. So they brought in trusted help, gave me some bodywork and gentle adjustments, and most importantly, they gave me time to breathe and settle in.
 

Once spring came around, I started easing into light work to build my muscles back up, and that’s when I realized trail rides are absolutely my thing. I’m easygoing, I’m a great listener, and I genuinely love having a job. I like exploring the woods, I like being someone’s steady partner, and I’m happiest when I’ve got something to do.
 

But here’s what most people don’t expect. I’m secretly a goofy girl. In the pasture, I’ll toss my head around like I’m putting on a show, do a little kick, and yes… I might even fart and act like nothing happened. 😉
 

After rides, I’ve also got this look I do, the biggest eyes you’ve ever seen, like I’m trying to read your whole soul when you walk up to me. And if you wiggle your finger near my lips, I’ll often wiggle my lips right back, just because I’m curious and I like to see what you’re up to.
