My story 💕

Hey there! I’m Nellie, the quiet gal with the steady feet and the old soul around here. I’m not one for making a big fuss. I’m pretty happy just being present in the day.
 

I come from the Amish world, so life used to look a whole lot different for me. The heavier work I'd known for years wasn't right for me anymore. I am still comfortable moving and have plenty to offer, but I need the gentler pace of trail rides now!
 

I’m a steady and true kind of girl. Not overly needy, not dramatic, and certainly not the one starting trouble in the pasture. For the most part, I like to keep to myself and do my own thing. I’ll find a good spot, settle in, and just enjoy whatever the day happens to bring.
 

That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy company though. Charlie is one of my favorite pasture buddies, and you’ll often find us hanging around together. Sometimes it’s just nice having somebody nearby without needing to make a whole event out of it.
 

I can be a little reserved when I first meet someone. I like to take people in before deciding what I think of them. But underneath that quiet exterior is a very sweet mare who appreciates gentle company and the simple things.
 

I think that’s really me in a nutshell. No big agenda. No need to be the center of attention. I’m just Nellie. Steady, peaceful, and quite happy to spend my days exactly where I am. ♥︎
