My name is Buster. I am a smaller Belgian Draft horse. Most of my life I worked hard in fields, pulling heavy loads in collars and straps that did not always fit. Despite the discomfort, I kept going because that was the work I knew and the scars all over my body are proof of my dedication to that work.

 

Later, someone bought me to carry knights in armor at jousting events. I tried, but the loud clanking made me uneasy. It was not the right fit for me. But these kind knights made sure I found a home I could be well cared for.

That's when Niall found me, and life feels different. He takes me on quiet trails where the sound of leaves and birds replace the noise of harness chains or clanking armor. I am learning a new job, guiding rides in the woods, and I like knowing when I do things right. A soft voice and a kind pat reassure me that I am doing the right thing.
 

Niall also helps me heal with care and exercises to loosen my body. Each day I grow stronger and more relaxed. I am proud to be his partner, and I am grateful for this new chapter where I can walk steady, listen to the trees, and know I belong.
 

When you come to ride with me, you will find I move at a steady pace and listen closely. I may look for a little reassurance along the way, but once I feel your kindness, I will gladly carry you through the woods. I look forward to meeting you and sharing the quiet beauty of the trail together.
