My story 💕

Hello, I'm Henry, and I'm here to share a bit of my story with you. I’m a gentle pony who once lived at a joyful camp for kids. Life was filled with fun and frolic with my camp best friend. But when my dear friend passed away, my world turned gray. I felt so lost without them, that it became hard to eat or drink.

The kind folks at the camp decided it would be best for me to find a new home where I could make new friends and heal my heart. So, this spring, I found my way to a new forever home here at Rise and Ride Ranch. Everything was so different, and at first, I was unsure of this change. My appetite was still nowhere to be found.

But then, they introduced me to Olenna. She is the sort of friend anyone would dream of having. Her warmth and kindness slowly started to light my way. You could say we clicked! Whether we’re napping under the sun, munching on fresh grass, or galloping through our pasture, Olenna is always by my side. With her, every day is a little better.

One of the things that has really helped me start to feel better is going on easy trail rides. I absolutely adore the feeling of the open trail beneath my hooves, and the sights and sounds of nature all around. Having something to do and focus on really helps me work up an appetite, and I find myself feeling more lively after our rides.

Though some days are still tough and my appetite isn't what it used to be, I’m beginning to see a glimmer of hope again. My new family is incredibly patient and loving. They're dedicated to helping me find my way back to the sunny days.

With Olenna’s companionship, the ease of trail rides, and my family’s care, I'm hopeful that soon enough, I’ll be back to my old vibrant self, embracing every moment of life with open hooves and a joyful heart!
