The Wishing Saddle
The dream for The Wishing Saddle began long before the ranch..
My sister and I grew up in a loving home, but one that faced constant financial struggle. Our parents worked tirelessly to give us every experience they could, yet many of the things we dreamed of were simply out of reach.
As adults, those memories stayed with us, not with bitterness, but with gratitude. Because even though money was tight, we grew up surrounded by love and family. Today, Rise & Ride Ranch is the result of those humble beginnings and the values they taught us.
Now, we want to open doors we didn’t always have the chance to walk through. We know firsthand how meaningful a single experience can be to a child… especially one who rarely gets the chance to do something magical.
Through this program, we hope to gift families the joy of a horseback ride and the wonder of connecting with a gentle giant. Every family deserves memories that brings them closer. ♥️

How The Wishing Saddle Works

Our goal is not to judge.
Our goal is to make room for joy! ❤︎
The Wishing Saddle is a program for families with low or fixed income. If this sounds like your family, you can fill out a simple form and tell us about your wish.
We will ask for a few gentle details, such as:
-
A family nickname to keep you anonymous
-
How many people will be riding
-
Which riding experience you'd like
-
A little about why this ride would be special
We may also ask for basic proof of income, so we can honor the purpose of the program and keep it fair. You can also let us know if you are able to pay a small part of the ride or if you need full support. Either way, you are welcome here! ❤︎
Every wish is thoughtfully reviewed by our family. We do need to approve each application to be sure it fits the goal of the program and the space we have
We cannot promise that every wish will be sponsored. Some families may need to wait. But we will do our very best to share this program, invite kind sponsors, and help us make as many of wishes come true as we can. 🐴✨
