A Bit About Me 🐎
Sponsored by Jennifer, Camden and Dee❤️

Elsa joined our family in early 2022 along with her mother, Anna. They were quite shy at first since they were not used to being handled softly and petted. Anna and Elsa came from a life of hard labor in the fields. Their teeth had been extensively broken by severe bit handling, and they were both critically underweight with several ulcers. We worked really hard to help them gain their health and weight back. It took nearly a year of proper diet, exercise and physical therapy.
Elsa may be the biggest horse on the ranch, but she prefers to stay quiet and close to her mom. Elsa loves to go on trail rides with her mom, Anna. When we let the two of them wonder outside the pasture in the summer, sometimes they will go down the trail together and then stand by the hitching posts when they're done.
Elsa is still quite shy and prefers calm and delicate petting. She is a joy to ride and she appreciates her gentle riders! Be sure to thank Elsa and pet her neck as you ride to help encourage her.
