Howdy there! I'm Story. Liz and Carson took me in long before they started this ranch. Back then, I was just skin and bones, headed for a rough patch. I didn’t have much of a past to boast about, which is ironic given my name. But Liz and Carson saw something special in me and didn’t mind that I was just a no-name in need of some help.

A few years went by and well.. circumstances forced Liz to sell me. It broke her heart; I was the only horse she ever had to part with. She made sure to find me a good new home, though, with a kind gal who had plenty of love to give. In 2023, Liz didn't hesitate to buy me back as soon as she found out the young gal couldn’t keep me because she was heading to college. That reunion was full of tears on both sides.

Now, folks say I’m getting on in years, but don’t let that fool you. I still love a good romp around the pasture and enjoy soaking up the sun. I can even dream of running while I’m laying down! I've got a whinny that might make you chuckle if you’re lucky enough to hear it.

The thing about me is, I’m smart and dependable, and many riders say I’m their favorite. I love my friends and am as easygoing as a summer breeze. Not much phases this old trail horse. I sure do feel blessed every time I get a chance in the saddle. Come say hello sometime!
