Rhaenyra joined our family in July 2023.  When she first arrived, she was nervous, reactive, scared of the saddle and would refuse to go any faster than a trot.  We knew right away this girl had a very sore body and got right to work.  We brought in our body work specialists to help release the tension and get her body back into shape.  Since then, she has opened up, follows us around, very very curious and even canters when asked.

Rhaenyra's first impression with the herd was quite funny.  After her quarantine finished, we placed her in the pasture with Queenie, Lakota and Khaleesi.  She ran right up to them with big ears forward essentially saying "HELLO friends"! The other girls were not as enthused with her energy at first, but came around to welcome her curiosity.  She just really wants friends and is very excited to be in a herd of her own. 

Rhaenyra has a bright mind and is quick to pick up on what we ask her.  She is currently working on learning gymkhana with Liz and an instructor. We all look forward to working more with Rhaenyra as we learn more about her and her personality!
